Missed Call Text-Back Pilot — n8n workflow

What it does

The rules it follows:

It only texts a number that just called you. It never texts a list.
It texts a number at most once in 24 hours.
It only sends texts from 8am to 8pm in your time zone. If someone calls later, their text goes out at 8:05 the next morning (if the call was in the last 14 hours).
It never texts anyone who replied STOP, anyone on your do-not-text list, blocked or hidden numbers, or your own numbers.
The texts are fixed messages you approve. There is no AI writing messages.

When a caller texts back:

Their message is sent to you by email, so you or your office can answer them.
On their first reply, the system can send one short "we got your message" note, using wording you approve, if you choose to turn that on. After that, only a person replies.
If they text STOP, they won't get texts again unless they text START.

Every call and text is logged in your own Google Sheet.

How it's used, day to day

Keep answering your phone like normal. The system only acts when a call is missed.
Check your email for reply alerts and call or text the person back yourself.
When a missed caller turns into a job, mark that row booked in the sheet.
For the first week, we check on it with you every day.

What you provide

Your own Twilio account (the phone service that sends the texts)
A2P 10DLC registration under your business name. US phone carriers require this before a business can send texts. We prepare the paperwork, and you submit it as the business owner. No texts go out until it is approved.
Your own n8n account, Google Sheet, and Gmail
A privacy policy and terms page on your website (we give you the text-message wording to add)
Approval of the text wording and the short notice for your call greeting, website, and Google Business Profile
Your current do-not-text list, if you have one

How it helps you

Callers you miss hear from you quickly, even when you're on a job or it's after hours.
You get their reply in writing, so you know who to call back and why.
You can see every missed call in one sheet, so fewer of them get lost.

What Soft Coast does

Prepares your A2P registration paperwork and the sample messages
Sets up your Twilio number so missed calls trigger the workflow
Installs the workflow on your n8n and connects Twilio, Google Sheets, and Gmail. We don't keep your logins outside your own n8n.
Writes the call greeting line and the website and Google notice for you to approve
Tests it with our own phone: a missed call, a second call the same day, a reply, STOP, START, and an after-hours call
Turns it on only after you sign off on the wording and the test results, then checks on it daily for the first week

What it does not do

It does not answer your leads with AI or carry on a conversation for you.
It does not book jobs, send promotions or coupons, or text lists.

$375 upfront + $375 at go-live ($750 total). Part 1 ($375) is due at the start, to begin setup and the A2P paperwork. Part 2 ($375) is due at go-live, once your A2P registration is approved and the texts are switched on. Your own Twilio account and A2P approval are needed before any live texts go out.
