Terms of Service — Soft Coast LLC

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of softcoastweb.com and the Soft Coast client portal at portal.softcoastweb.com. By creating an account or subscribing to a plan, you agree to them on behalf of your business.

2. What we provide

Depending on your plan, Soft Coast LLC provides website design and maintenance, social media content planning and publishing, and access to the client portal. The features included in each plan are described on our pricing page.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

4. Fees and billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, at the rate shown for your plan when you subscribe.
Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; we do not refund the portion of a month already paid for unless required by law.
We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing the price of an existing subscription.

5. Non-payment

If a payment fails, we apply the following schedule:

Days 0–7 — a grace period. We send reminders; your service continues unchanged.
Days 8–14 — your account is suspended. Scheduled publishing pauses and portal access is limited, but your data is retained.
Day 15 onward — your account may be terminated, connected social account tokens revoked, and your account archived.

Settling the outstanding balance at any point before termination restores your account.

6. Your content and our permission to publish

You keep ownership of everything you provide — text, images, video, logos and brand assets. By connecting a social account and scheduling content, you grant Soft Coast LLC permission to publish that content to the platforms you have selected, on your behalf, for as long as your account is active.

You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload, and that publishing it will not infringe anyone else's rights.

7. Connected platforms

Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X and LinkedIn are operated by third parties and governed by their own terms. Your use of them through our portal is subject to those terms as well as these. We are not responsible for a platform changing its API, restricting a permission, or suspending your account there.

You can disconnect any platform at any time from Settings → Connections.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use our services to publish content that is unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, or infringing, that harasses or targets individuals, or that violates the rules of a connected platform. We may decline to publish content that would put our accounts or platform access at risk, and will tell you when we do.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep the portal available and your scheduled content publishing on time, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Publishing depends on third-party platform APIs that can fail or change without notice.

10. No guarantee of results

Marketing outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. We do not guarantee any particular level of traffic, engagement, leads or revenue.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Soft Coast LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

12. Termination

You may cancel at any time from the portal's billing page or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate an account for non-payment, for breach of these terms, or where continuing would put our platform access at risk. On termination we handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify account holders by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.
